حرا م کی کمائی سے آپ و قتی سہو لت تو

پا لیتے ہیں لیکن آپ خود اپنی نسل کے

مجرم ہوتے ہو ، اگر یہ شکل نہ بگاڑے تو

نسل ضر ور بگا ڑ دیتی ہے

If you get temporary relief from haram earnings

You get it, but you yourself belong to your own generation

شاہ بکتے ہیں فقیر بکتے ہیں

یہاں صغیرو کبیر بکتے ہیں ، کچھ سر عام ، کچھ پس دیوار بکتے ہیں

اس شہر میں ضمیر بکتے ہیں

یہا ں تہذیب بکتی ہے  یہاں فرمان بکتے ہیں

ذراتم  دام  تو بدلو  یہاں ایمان بکتے ہیں

Kings sell, poor people sell

Here small and large ones are sold, some are normal heads, some are wall mounted

Conscience is sold in this city

Civilization is sold here, orders are sold here

Phartiram dam to badlo here Iman is preached

زیا دہ علم سیکھنے سے بہتر ہے

تھورا سا ادب سیکھ لیا جائے

More knowledge is better than learning

جب کانوں کو غیبت سننے

کی لت لگ جائے تو چغلی

زبان کا چسکا بن جاتی ہے

اور کینہ دل کا سکون

جن لوگوں نے آپ کودُکھ دیے

اُن کو بھلا دیں لیکن جو اُنہوں نے 

سبق دئیے اُن کو یا در کھیں

وہ لوگ خامو شی کو پسند کرتے ہیں

جنہوں نے شور سے چو ٹیں کھا ئی ہوں

They like silence

Those who have been injured by the noise

ہی سب کچھ ہوتے ہیں دل جیت

بھی

لیتے ہیں اور دل چیر بھی دیتے ہیں

Everything is heart win

They take and also tear the heart

ڈگری تو محض تعلیمی اخراجات کی رشید ہوتی ہے

علم

تو انسان کی گفتگو اور عمل سے ظاہر ہو تا ہے

A degree is merely a receipt of educational expenses

کہ گرم جہے تو ہاتھ بتا دیتے ہیں سخت ہے تو دانت بتا دیتے ہیں

کڑوایا ترش ہے تو زبان بتا دیتی ہے اور اگر باسی ہے تو ناک بتا دیتی ہے

بس حرام ہے یاحلال یہ فیصلہ ہمیں کرنا ہے

How much nature has managed to deliver a morsel to the stomach

If it is hot, then the hands will tell, if it is hard, then the teeth will tell

If bitter is acrid, then the tongue will tell and if it is stale, then the nose will tell

We have to decide whether it is haram or halal

زند گی تب بہتر ہوتی ہے

جب آپ خوش ہوتے ہیں

لیکن زندگی تب بہتر ین ہوتی ہے جب

آپ کی وجہ سے کوئی دوسرا خوش ہوتا ہے

اُب جائے تو

اسے جڑ سے کاٹنا بہت مشکل ہو جا تا ہے

رکھو کیوں کہ آچھائی کا بدلہ انسان نہیں

بلکہ اللہ دیتا ہے
